Tyler Perry’s new series, Beauty in Black, is poised to create a stir on Netflix, and the first look hints at an exhilarating journey ahead. On September 24, the streaming platform released the official trailer for the much-anticipated show, providing a sneak peek into its action-filled narrative.
The trailer opens with Mallory, portrayed by Crystle Stewart, confidently exiting a stunning mansion, immediately capturing the attention of those around her. Addressing a gathering of women, Mallory exudes an undeniable presence. In contrast, Kimmie (played by Taylor Polidore Williams) finds herself fascinated by Mallory’s affluent lifestyle. As Kimmie walks through an opulent venue, she muses, “Her family owns all of this. I wonder what her life is like.”

According to the official synopsis, Beauty in Black revolves around two women living starkly different lives. Kimmie is struggling to get by after being kicked out by her mother, while Mallory leads a successful business. Despite their contrasting circumstances, their lives intersect in unexpected ways.
The series features a talented ensemble cast, including Amber Reign Smith as Rain, Ricco Ross as Horace, Debbi Morgan as Olivia, Richard Lawson as Norman, and Steven G. Norfleet as Charles. The cast also includes Terrell Carter, Joy Rovaris, Xavier Smalls, and Tamera “Tee” Kissen.
