A pair of social media influencers is facing jail time after reportedly being caught with over 200 pounds of cocaine, according to the New York Post.
The two women, identified as Racquelle Dolores Anteola, 34, of Van Nuys, California, and Melissa Dufour, 36, of Miramar, Florida, were detained last Thursday when they were pulled over for a traffic violation while driving on Interstate 10 in Mobile County, Alabama.
Anteola is an up-and-coming singer and rapper who goes by the stage name Rahky, while Dufour, a model and Instagram influencer, owns a clothing company called Sexy Sweat.
The two reportedly met at a Houston house party where they allegedly got very drunk, and when they were pulled over for the traffic offense, a K-9 unit discovered 217 pounds of cocaine packed into 84 bundles concealed in two secret compartments of their SUV. Local outlet Lagniappe revealed that the back seat of the car had been modified with a steel aftermarket section, and that the floor had been lowered and welded back together in order to make room for the contraband.
Anteola and Dufour, now being held by the MCSO and U.S. Border Patrol, are being charged with federal drug trafficking, which carries a sentence of up to 10 years in prison. The two women are currently being held in Mobile County Metro Jail on a bond of $1 million.
