Gershom began his media career producing and appearing on networks like TBN, Cross TV, and Go TV. Recognizing the need for broader narratives, he founded Authentic Television (ATV), a global streaming platform that curates inspirational content from diverse storytellers, focusing on themes of perseverance, healing, and hope.

Beyond production, Gershom’s voice has reached international audiences. He contributed voice work to Faith Like Potatoes, the first British-African faith-based film, and even lent his voice to a character in SpongeBob SquarePants, though he modestly declined onscreen credit at the time.

In response to digital privacy concerns during the COVID-19 pandemic, Gershom launched:

In 2010, he led a groundbreaking event in South Africa where individuals of different races washed each other’s feet and exchanged 150,000 pairs of Jordan shoes, symbolizing healing and unity.
Through the Global Challenge Initiative, a nonprofit he founded, Gershom supports underfunded organizations worldwide, focusing on clean water projects, education funding, and anti-homelessness campaigns.

Gershom’s passion for storytelling culminates in the Authentic Global Film Festival, taking place on June 12–13, 2025, at the Fine Arts Theatre in Beverly Hills. This festival celebrates exceptional films from over 170 countries, selected from more than 3,500 submissions.
