Rapper and YouTuber Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr., known professionally as DDG, has publicly expressed his struggles in maintaining consistent contact with his 14-month-old son, Halo, whom he shares with ex-girlfriend, actress Halle Bailey. In recent social media posts and livestreams, DDG has voiced his frustrations regarding limited access to his son.
On March 10, 2025, DDG took to social media, stating he feels more like a “nanny” than a father due to restricted visitation. He expressed concerns about the current co-parenting arrangement, emphasizing his desire for a more active role in Halo’s life.
In a recent YouTube livestream, DDG accused Bailey of preventing him from seeing their son, stressing that going public was a last resort as he doesn’t want legal battles, which could get messy. He also expressed his desire to maintain a good relationship for the sake of their son.
As of now, Halle Bailey has not publicly responded to DDG’s claims. The former couple, who began dating in 2022, welcomed their son Halo in December 2023 and announced their separation in October 2024.
