Early this morning, Miami Beach native DaniLeigh was arrested after getting involved in a serious hit-and-run accident that left the victim with a fractured spine. Witnesses who observed the incident told police that the “Lil Bebe” singer was seen speeding down the lane and recklessly driving into the motor scooter before dragging it for about a block.
According to documents obtained by TMZ, police suspected the singer was driving under the influence when they apprehended her and detected a strong smell of alcohol. A field sobriety test was conducted, and a breathalyzer test indicated that DaniLeigh had an alcohol concentration of 0.148, which is almost double the legal limit. She was consequently arrested and booked for multiple felonies such as driving under the influence, leaving the scene of the crash with serious bodily injury, and damaging property.
The victim was then rushed to a hospital and diagnosed with a lacerated kidney and a spinal fracture due to the crash. Prior to the hit-and-run, DaniLeigh had already been the subject of a legal investigation after an altercation with DaBaby, with whom she shares a child, on Instagram Live in 2021.
This conflict had further escalated to a bowling alley brawl between her brother and DaBaby’s entourage, resulting in her brother taking legal action against the rapper for assault, battery, emotional distress, and negligence.
