Blueface Will Be Kept Behind Bars Until Summer

by Black Vine

Rapper Blueface was arrested last week for allegedly violating his probation from a past assault case. Online records show the rapper, whose real name is Johnathan Porter, is currently in custody at the Los Angeles County Jail and is not scheduled to be released until July 2, 2024.

Blueface was on probation stemming from an assault case at a Los Angeles nightclub a few years ago. He had several probation violation hearings related to that case over the years. On Friday, he appeared in court again for an unspecified probation violation. Video circulated online of Blueface stating he was in court to “handle some business” and hinting he may be jailed.

Details are still emerging about what exactly Blueface is accused of doing to violate his probation terms. He had been active making public appearances over the past year which came under scrutiny.

In addition to the Los Angeles case, Blueface is also on probation for a separate case in Las Vegas. The arrest last week could potentially trigger a probation violation for that case as well.

Blueface’s family members including his mother and manager Wack 100 have expressed frustration with the situation. His mother suggested Blueface’s relationships with women like rappers Chrisean and Jaidyn contributed to his legal troubles.

For now, Blueface remains in custody and out of the public eye. Given overcrowding, he may be released earlier than the July date. But he is likely facing at least several months in jail. The arrest marks the latest legal issue for the prominent rapper.
