Monday morning, a family reportedly escaped unharmed from a significant house fire near the Third Ward.
The residence, which was Beyoncé Knowles-Carter’s childhood home, is situated on Rosedale Street. Houston Fire Department officials responded to the fire around 2:07 a.m.
Upon arrival, firefighters aggressively tackled the flames in the two-story house, eventually cutting into the roof to clear the attic.
Fortunately, the couple and their two small children had already self-evacuated before the fire department’s arrival.
